As the oldest alternative school in Florida, we have over 35 years of experience working with creative, independent thinkers in an alternative private school environment, and we bring this experience to our new location in Winter Springs.
Students at The Jacob School want challenging, interesting classes that will prepare them for life. We recognize that creative students come in all shapes and sizes, and because many of our students are non-traditional learners, they are looking for an academic setting that can be customized to their needs. Our students overcome challenges like ADHD in our customized private school setting.
Our Core Values
The Jacob School recognizes strong values are the foundation of a good education. We use the CHARM Program, a systematic character education program, to incorporate five core values into everything we do. The name CHARM is taken from the acronym of the five values in our system: Compassion, Honesty, Accountability, Respect, and Motivation. The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice recognized CHARM as an exemplary practice for character education. Our private school uses the CHARM program to teach teens how to set and achieve goals for success.
